(4,341 posts)People who voted for Trump are either ignorant or racist, misogynists, bigots, etc...his campaign was clearly one of racism, nationalism, white supremacist messages...anyone who did not know who the man-child is should not vote because they are bound to make the same mistake next election.
Also, I don't think he won, I think voting machines were hacked, for the man-child and in favour of many republicans, that is why republicans who were "elected" are so afraid of the man-child, he has the "kompromat" on them.
I think Joe is trying to justify the fact that he voted for the man-child.
Lets face the facts, most republicans are racists, misogynists, bigots, etc. they voted for their guy.

(730 posts)DISAGREE! Unfortunately, I have heard some REALLY sickeningly Racist comments out of the mouths of people who are registered to the democratic party. ALL racists are NOT republicans. Racism is an equal opportunity mental illness, Trust me. As a black woman, I know FIRST HAND that this is the case.

(8,200 posts)The Republican Party not only harbors racists but cultivates this despicable sin. They officially act to put their program of discrimination into affect by enacting laws to restrict the black vote. I don't believe that the Democratic Party sanctions discrimination as a policy. Yes, there are Democrats who are racists and they must be challenged. In contrast, except for a very few incidents, the Republicans not only fail to condemn racism, but tacitly welcome it because it assures them of reelection. To oppose it, in most cases is political suicide.
Thanks for your comments. You have a very valid point. Mine needed clarification.

(4,341 posts)The Tax Bill was not a win, it is a win when we all win. With the tax bill the 1% won, the rest of the country lost.
This administration has not done anything for the economy, it is a carryover from Obama's administration who had to fix the mess that GW Bush left us with.
The Dow does not represent the state of the economy as a whole, it only shows that the rich are getting richer (their investments continue to climb), and the poor stay the same, or worst, but the fact that the Dow is up has no relevance on the country as a whole, and again, it is a carryover from Obama.
What wins Joe is talking about I don't know, none belong to this administration, but in a year or two the decisions made by this administration will show, and those will not be good news.
