If you are someone fighting Trumpism, then you owe it to yourself to watch this video because these fellow Americans are as clueless as they are dangerous. There really is no saving them, or enlightening them, because they are unable and/or unwilling to admit or understand what is going on.
What we all have to realize is that there are many millions of people just like these Georgians. We cannot become complacent because their votes count.
Wow. Just wow. These people are just embarrassing.

(24,398 posts)tRump cant get anything done because of that Democrat-controlled Senate.
And the guy interviewing him didnt call him on it. Why do these rubes get a pass every fucking time?

(449 posts)There really isn't anything the interviewer can do or say. Any time he tried to correct or point out how wrong they are, they just don't get it. If he was argumentative, they would have just kicked him out.
And what's worse is... there are people who will watch that same video and cheer for the idiots and agree with them.
Sad how the woman's only suggestion is that Trump stops tweeting. If you can't trust the guy to handle tweeting, then why the hell should you trust him with anything more complicated than that?
Ugh.

(46,297 posts)She didn't just suck up to him; she bought whatever he was selling.
When our father attacked me for standing up to him, my sister joined him in the attacks. When our father would repeatedly state, "I may not always be right, but I'm never wrong," I'd be horrified when my sister would independently say the same thing about him. It got to the point where after three failed (marriage) engagements, my sister turned to our father and plaintively admitted that she failed at finding a husband and would he please select one for her. (Thankfully a few months later, my sister met my BIL and married him. And further thankfully, my BIL got our father's number early and "re-programmed" my sister.)
My point: my sister was no different than the Trump supporters in the diner. She refused to see his cruelty, his control over her, and didn't want to take responsibility for her decisions. She preferred that he decide for her and thus, he would own the mistakes, not her.
