The only animated TV Christmas special that I like! Chiefly due to the presence of Boris Karloff, who regretted that he was unable to do the songs thanks to his worsening emphysema. Dear Boris won a Grammy for his efforts on this, though.
He was a treasure, and the exact opposite of all the characters that made him famous.
To me, Christmas is Boris Karloff!

He was a lovely man and a fine actor. He let us see the humanity in all of his characters, including Dr. Frankenstein's creation.
