My parents actually took me to see it in 1970 when we were living in England. The British, of course, loved it.
My favorite scene was when Lewis got General Buck (Harold Stone) to light his cigarette. Where he had to crawl up onto his desk to reach him. Second favorite scene was the "Von Runstadt has no MUSTACHE...dunkoff!" scene.
