OP
Perhaps he should discover who at Trump Tower mailed the documents instead of threatening the press.

If Trump's handling of his tax returns are "genius", then release the tax returns and allow all

He might find the biography of Daniel Ellsberg illuminating. I know why Boris is always smiling....

Were any laws broken? Or does Trump just not like
the truth coming to light via freedom of the press.

New York Times Report
The documents consisted of three pages from what appeared to be Mr. Trumps 1995 tax returns. The pages were mailed last month to Susanne Craig, a reporter at The Times who has written about Mr. Trumps finances. The documents were the first page of a New York State resident income tax return, the first page of a New Jersey nonresident tax return and the first page of a Connecticut nonresident tax return. Each page bore the names and Social Security numbers of Mr. Trump and Marla Maples, his wife at the time. Only the New Jersey form had what appeared to be their signatures.
The three documents arrived by mail at The Times with a postmark indicating they had been sent from New York City. The return address claimed the envelope had been sent from Trump Tower.

of us to be geniuses, what is the problem with sharing his vast knowledge of the tax laws.

He needs a lesson in American history before he opens his mouth.

If she says that she approves the release and would have done it herself, then he doesn't seem to have any kind of case on any basis.
