I remember when I retired from my first career to stay home and parent for a few years, and my boss, whom I adored, counseled me not to do it. He said, "K______, you're not the right type to stay home. I'm afraid you'll turn into that TV mom from a few years ago, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman."

In those days I watched little TV...so there is a lot for me to still see. Including Marry Hartman.

I am sooooo glad there is YouTube...because I quit TV years ago and don't miss it at all.

I had the pleasure of briefly doing PR for the actor who played Tom Hartman (Greg Mullavey), and got to meet most of the MH, MH cast.
