16. This is surreal. Gut churning. And we all know it is this way. Only some of us don't like it.

There is no Republican/Democrat divide, only a corporatist/democracy divide. You can very, very easily tell which "Democrats" on this board are corporatists and which are pro-democracy. If I hadn't already paid through the nose to be photographing wildlife in Africa this coming July, I would cancel that trip and be outside the convention. I hope tens of thousands show up for that. I can imagine the day when we'll all have to be weighed and measured twice a year so that the corpo-state knows how much to charge us for oxygen rental. Most of us just slog along through life in a foggy, depressed haze, pretending that things are other than they are. Dystopia come to life.
