why the girls whose schools were bombed by coalition forces want to learn to fly?

This Be The Verse
They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.
But they were fuckeded up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another's throats.
Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don't have any kids yourself.

(718 posts)3. She wants to fight the Taliban who blew up her school because
Maybe she doesn't want to spend her life locked up, forced to go through life uneducated, in constant danger from men who are so pathetically frightened of women they can't so much as handle seeing their ankles, and just generally trapped, and wasted.
Also, as she herself said:
I want to be a jet fighter pilot so that I can do something for my country and my nation, and get rid of terrorism and extremism from this country.

on the despicable treatment of women by Islamic fundamentalists has fitted you with a set of blinkers (blinders) that prevent you from seeing that there are other injustices faced by women (and indeed all residents) of countries where Western governments have chosen to wage a perpetual war.
You do know that, right?
