(1,539 posts)to get their candidate elected. Roosevelt was the only President the bankers didn't want. They tried to marginalize him b making him VP but the President died.
It is even questionable if Bernie was allowed a fair amount of success just so the voters think they pick the President.

We need a "right to vote" constitutional amendment. It should be enshrined in federal law at the highest level that this is what it means to be a democratic republic (small "d" .
And, as usual, Cenk gets it right.

(9,298 posts)just keeps pouring in, and that's a good thing. But the whole situation is mind-boggling in a vibrant, cosmopolitan city like New York. Even if it's determined that the election results overall don't change, Bernie would assuredly pick up more delegates.
