She called Joe Madison's show (on SiriusXM) yesterday morning to talk about odds and ends and for him to wish her a happy birthday. He did mention his fondness for the sermon that her father (Rev. C.L. Franklin) gave that he references continually through the year as a theme to his philosophy and show (with excerpts used in his opening) - "The Eagle Stirreth her Nest" and she confirmed that the sermon (which is available on CD and is excerpted on youtube) was given back in the early '50s.

Thanks for posting this. It's not my personal favorite, but it's awesome anyway. Think from the Blues Brother is my favorite, I absolutely adore that song, can't hear it without jumping up and dancing to it. So much fun and such an awesome set of pipes.
