I'm literally praying for Bernie today.

He is really our last hope, and even he may be too late.

People do not understand what climate change means.

It means hunger.

Plants grow best within certain temperature ranges.

You don't get very many tomatoes when the temperature goes above 100 degrees Farenheit.

Salad does not do well in Los Angeles summers. And our summers are not nearly as hot as it will get if we don't stop the climate change that is already progressing at an alarming rate.

I've heard of hot houses for growing food. But so far, I haven't heard of air conditioning hot houses so that we can grow food. I suppose it is possible, but let's try to change our habits so we don't have to.

Food is cheap now. Don't count on that in the future unless we put an aggressive program in place to save our planet.

People just think climate change, warmer summers.

But they don't realize what it will really mean in terms of droughts in one area and super-storms in others, in loss of ocean life and ultimately human life.
