do not watch any news shows at all, ignore them, talk to your friends and family, post on FB, twitter etc., shut their ratings down. Fox will win the ratings, but who cares about Fox and their viewers. Tell them we want honest un-biased reporting and get rid of all these over paid know nothing pundits, we need the Fairness Doctrine back.

6. No news show at all?

How can you stay informed if you do not watch any news shows. Five corporations own 95% of ALL news outlets (television stations, radio stations, newspapers, magazines, etc.)
If for no other reason, you have to watch them just to know what they are up to. Just be aware they are biased propaganda outlets for the corporations.
One of the biggest problems we have in this country is ignorance of current events and politics.

9. What about FSTV and Link? Some of us get these fine channels, but the others, I agree.

10. I agree about FSTV but their viewership must be very low

Most cable won't carry them while they offer FOX SNOOZ in their basic package - CNN also.
I quit giving to other media and only give to FSTV now.

13. It really is astounding that there is no longer a progressive POV on television.

Actually the only progressive POV has to come from Comedy Central (Trevor Noah and Larry Wilmore) and if you're lucky to have HBO package, Bill Maher. It's just getting totally disgusting.

when one considers who controls the conduits for television. T'would be nice if they offered information that might paint them in a less-than-perfect light, but America only understands winners and losers. You have to be one or the other - and who endeavors to be a loser?
