(2,382 posts)... never lost a case as a prosecutor.
Given the irrefutable evidence of malice aforethought and gross malfeasance in his pursuit of a "conviction" of a former Secretary of State, would it not be perfectly reasonable to revisit for possible prosecutorial misconduct, at least some of his sketchier convictions of poor mopes that didn't have a chance against the crushing jaws of a grotesquely corrupt court system?
I mean, the sonofabitch has withheld, distorted, and fabricated evidence, lied through his teeth, employed blatant intimidation tactics, and generally demonstrated that he is a world-class asshole worthy of the undying contempt of every sentient being on this planet. What's not to despise?

(2,382 posts)Prosecutors almost never have to answer for even the most malicious misconduct, but it might help some of those he may have railroaded in order to puff up his conviction rate.
I'd be willing to bet my favorite butt cheek that he destroyed more than a few innocent lives for his own self-aggrandizement. He just oozes that kind of malice. Maybe that's why his forehead's so shiny.

(32,723 posts)They had the lights set up to show themselves off for the cameras and not on Hillary but what it amounted to was an interrogation where the ones asking the questions were the ones under the hot lights.

(2,382 posts)... that even Teabaggers with the brains of a rutabaga will eventually see these malicious, lying swine for what they really are... still waiting...
Must be my Pollyanna penchant for trying to see the good in people. Yeah... good luck with that.

(32,723 posts)Then there are the ones that link money with religion and actually buy into the "God's Own Party" thing.
You half expect them to walk out of the polling place, spread their arms, squeeze their eyes shut and tilt their heads back as if they're expecting their wallet to be supernaturally stuffed with Benjamins or gold coins to rain from heaven.
gregcrawford
(2,382 posts)... that they forget the admonition that "...it is easier for a camel to slip through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to get into Heaven." And then there was ol' J.C. takin' a bullwhip to the money changers in the temple.
One of the great things about the Bible; you can twist and exploit it to justify any crime you care to commit. They sure take THAT to the limit every chance they get.
Have a good night, Spitfire.

(750 posts)The GOP Serving Trey
The game here is to take this argument outside to the GOP big tent, and serve up a lot of spicy tea, and potions that razzle dazzle his evangelist crowd.
This investigation is serious, no stone unturned, every dungeon must be searched every dragon found and eradicated.
The GOP can see Hillary breaths fire. Of course this is a snotty satire because I too have a hard time viewing because of the glistening glare radiating from the Trey. Reprehensive Goody forgot to wear his leather Spangenhelm, or he left it at home.

(5,106 posts)something a little strange or joke-worthy (unfair, admittedly) about their appearance choose to either ignore or "play it up"? For instance Trey Gowdy, who looks as if his head was briefly caught in a vice, wears such a strange haircut: sort of a tiny Mohawk? Is it to appeal to any voter who might have an unfortunate physical trait? If any of those guys had even a trace of warmth or sense of humor, nobody would even notice their looks in the first place.
I was think he looked like a movie villain, but Grimley is a good comparison.

Republicans still fail to understand these bullshit investigations turn Democrats into martyrs. Bernie should have a turn in front of the kangaroo committee so they can help his presidential campaign, too.
What? He had nothing to do with Benghazi? That didn't stop the GOP with Clinton.

The Republicans need no more debates, the Presidential race was won.
As weeks, months and years go by, the Republicans just get worst. No wonder they started with 17 presidential candidates. none have shown the American people any intelligences yet.
