(81,225 posts)He's gonna be such a disruptor! He's gonna fuck with everybody on that side of the aisle. Make the whole clown car sparkle and shine! And I would LOVE to see him joust with jeb bush over Iraq. As long as we've got Trump yammering about that, it's gonna remind people. And remind people.
And remind people.
And remind people!!!
jebbie, this is YOUR worst nightmare. The biggest brassiest media attention-whore of the bunch, who just roasted your dumb-ass dry-drunk brother's wonderful Iraq War live on national television! jeb's been trying so hard to keep dubya in the closet. Won't happen now! Let the debates begin! Donald baby, Thanks a BILLION or nine! YOU singlehandedly may have just won it for the Democrats.

(2,962 posts)The one in my sig is Bernie's in profile. Bernie's hair has movement, like a snow white flame. Trump's hair just perches there, sprayed stiff, on the top of his head, smothering his brain.

(15,237 posts)His announcement was a curious mixture of pure blame for a long rambling list of enemies both foreign and domestic with some truths and many distortions. In some circles this is known as the "big lie" a term he even invoked. If the twentieth century is any model major disasters resulted from leaders using this approach. Unfortunately the "big lie" works until the real motives become apparent. So you peasants are going to get a job and Trump gets to make a deal. The problem now is secret deals, Trump offers unknown deals who is to say which is worse? This may sell Trump is a salesman in spite of many business failures he is still standing.
All of this from a man who is a birther, con artist with a supremely inflated ego. Do not let the clown like demeanor fool you. Others who used his tactics in the twentieth century were laughed at and ridiculed. You're fired and will become crispy.

We have a new governor in Illinois -- Ruiner-- I mean Rauner, who reminds me of Trump. He has better hair, but he is just as big an asshole. Maybe Trump can put him on the ticket.
Our country is dumb and dumber if we take these people seriously. Unfortunately, many do. We have to GOTV if we want to survive.

(7,968 posts)God this guy is insane. Seriously missing a few screws.
The guy is VERY dangerous if he gets anywhere close to the White House. I think American's (even Republicans) are aware enough to recognize this guy is a total shister but I've been wrong about this in the past. I never thought Americans were stupid enough to elect W but they did.
Unfortunately, the country is somewhat ripe for being taken by a shister like this idiot. They're oppressed and feeling frustrated. Jeb Bush ain't an option. If they get forced by the powers that be into that they rank and file Republicans could rebel and go for a shister like This idiot.

(18,652 posts)He really sounded sincere and believable in his presentation---it's just what he was saying was BS. Scott Walker is another one who's got the Talk down perfectly.
My state rep. is a silver-tongued R also. He's a complete idiot, writes legislation like a middle school-er and is interested only in hunting and fishing legislation b/c he's a hunter/fisherman. His latest was to get legislation passed to help our mayor, who was caught violating the law. In getting state legislation passed without town or council's approval first, the two of them violated a second law!
This type of of R is very dangerous. They sound reasonable in their speech and mannerisms but they are idiots, lawbreakers and are only in politics to help themselves.

(41,131 posts)I wonder what percentage of the population is narcissistic and/or also psychopath- plenty. These are in Personality Disorder Cluster something, it's all online. They are often personable, intelligent, successful, self-absorbed, lacking conscience, unempathetic, lairs and lawbreakers. And very dangerous. Walker.
Your state rep. sounds less bright, don't know if that excludes him from these disorders or not, doubt it. There's a reason they go into politics, business and sales- effective liars and cons. But not all people in these occupations are twisted of course IMO.
