1. If god forbid, a Republican President gets elected

It will be far, far worse... and that red arrow will be longer pointing down! We can't let that happen again!

on the Senate and House races - no matter who is President!

23. We need to do it all--House/Senate/POTUS.

Our President picks the Supremes, and has VETO power. I'd rather see ours with those powers than theirs.

2. The pic drives home the fact that

the GOP have no data to backup any of their Bull shit economic claims! All the data shows that Dems know how to make the economy work!

17. I think it's more that we just don't feed and protect the predator class .1%ers.

There's a great deal of inequality still built into the system, but we don't move mountains day and night to pave the way for the thieves at the tippy-top of the class structure. So, when we're in power, the productivity of the nation can actually float all boats a bit, until the cycle begins anew, and the R's take office again.

5. "Just imagine how well the economy would have done if Mitt Romney had been elected."

Remember, Mitt promised to get unemployment down to 6% by 2016. (It's currently 5.5%.)

7. Yep. They'll credit this to W you watch

They credit the Bill years to Reagan and blame Carter for any negative thing associated with Reagan.

And repeat repeat repeat thru their media.

8. Not bullish in my home, still struggling to make ends meet and doing without some basics.

The top 1% is getting 93% of the economic gains.

Sorry to rain on your parade but this is reality for millions of hard-working Americans!

15. 52% might opine that it's better

but WHY aren't the income and productivity (AND Wall St.) graph lines all slanting upwards in unison??? It's one thing to say it's getting better - it's another to feel like one's a part of that trend!

Sort of in the Thom Hartmann league where his assessment is the OA is doing just enough to keep it from sinking on their watches. Given TH knocked it out of the park on his historical aspect, I hope he's wrong about his view of our future.

collapse of the US and other nations?

I never get those memos.
