Rachel Maddow: Jeb Bush, "Mistakes Were Made"..."I Am My Own Man"

A truly brilliant piece by Rachel on the Bush Legacy and Jeb's first voyage into a foreign policy speech. We see the usage by the Bushes of the term , "Mistakes Were Made" Further, she discusses Jeb's enormous fund raising accomplishment, and how the Republicans have ignored real foreign policy questions for years. She concludes with a plea for a real discussion on important international issues instead of a name calling and saying Obama doesn't love his country.
Rachel also shows how Jeb's foreign policy team is similar, actually, almost exactly the same as the team his brother and his father used.. This was aired on Thursday, Feb 19, 2015

is that you literally cannot see the puppet's strings being held by the Koch Brothers. Jebba the Bush almost looks real. How do they do that?

Jeb will need a whole lot of tutoring to sound intelligent. One thing I believe, the tutoring from those so called "experts" will be about lies and will be totally worthless

Rachel Maddow did not just put forth the bankrupt foreign policy of Jeb Bush. She demonstrated the empty cache of Republican Party candidates.

Not a one of these guys knows anything about the world. All that money and they haven't really lived or learned or read or thought about anything but themselves or any people but their own kind or any experience beyond theirs.

Republicans: It's me, me, me, and only me all the time. That's all they are capable of. Not a one of them can go beyond their own petty interests.

I suggest that DUers who are up to slugging through it read MacMillan's book, 1919, Six Months that Changed the World. It is an eye-opener.

When "mistakes are made" by presidents and world leaders, the consequences are grave. We are still paying for the mistakes made by a group of four men and their advisers in Paris way back in the aftermath of WWI. And their mistakes were due to mistakes made before them.

Jeb Bush is just a rich Sarah Palin.

Barack Obama is maybe the most knowledgeable president in a long, long time when it comes to foreign policy. And still, some mistakes are made. But not nearly as many as with the Republican presidents.

I think that Jimmy Carter had great understanding of foreign policy. Kennedy, son of an ambassador, probably also did although his presidency was far too short. The Roosevelts traveled and knew the world. Wilson was a scholar. He knew the world but not well enough.

But Jeb Bush. All that money and what ignorance. It's really a waste.

To think he is his own anything other than his ' Brand'. He is owned by his handlers who bought him.
