Written by Carol King and featured in the movie Easy Rider, as I'm sure you know. Thanks for posting and sending me off on a search to find out more. Takes me back to my "hippy days" in the 60s, when I was convinced I was a free spirit and wasn't born to follow. But then I did....sigh!

As we used to say, Keep the Faith!

Thanks for posting. And peace.

I used to listen to this song as a teenager in the early 70s while dreaming of travel and independence. Although the mountains in my dreams were the Rockies. Thanks for sharing (and I had no idea Carol King wrote it - makes it even nicer).

I grew up in Colorado and spent a lot of my youth meandering through the mountains with my family. Daddy loved those drives. Happy memories, made more special with time.

Cherish your dreams--and blessings to you.
