Chris Hedges: A Call to Action to Create a New Political Movement

Chris Hedges calls us to action, to create a new political movement to replace our corrupt government and obsolete economic institutions, building on what's begun by Occupy Wall Street. Talk at Church of All Souls in New York City February 7, 2012.

Not just labor unions, focused on collective barganing. But credit unions, possibly with their own line of credit cards. Nonprofit health insurance unions run by the members for the members, possibly owning hospitals as well. Investment funds aimed at the working middle class. And the political organization behind them to get the laws to favor these collection/union/nonprofit structures that shore up the middle class and give them the political and economic clout against the globalist forces that undermine them with their own money.
