Bill Maher On George Zimmerman Tape: Is There Any Doubt That He Is A ‘Big F*cking Liar?’

VIDEO here: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/bill-maher-on-george-zimmerman-tape-is-there-any-doubt-that-he-is-a-big-fcking-liar/

Bill Maher got really fired up on his show tonight over the Trayvon Martin shooting, and tore into George Zimmerman for his pithy defense of his actions that night, bluntly calling him a “big fucking liar.” Maher showed the tape of Zimmerman, which may or may not disprove the claim that Martin broke his nose and fought with him. Maher thought Zimmerman’s claim was completely ridiculous, and asked if the tape was definitive proof that Zimmerman was lying about the struggle. ... <SNIP> ...

And put that police video as evidence. I don't want to see the man lynched or subjected to the same kind of vigilante justice he doles out.

and the case handled like an unlawful homicide using the full resources of the local, county, and state to investigate it as such. I don't think the police should be put in the position of considering an affirmative defense. I have been troubled by the fact that even an arrest record is considered in things like jobs and such. As my favorite fictional detective Harry Bosch says, "Everybody matters or nobody matters". The police must speak for the dead no matter who they are.

The Martin shooting has reached this level of interest because by all accounts Martin was a typical teenager. If he had a record he would have been forgotten, and that is troubling as well.

Oh don't be so modest, you minimized that about as much as you could have.
