I had managed to avoid seeing the twerking incident until this. If I had to see it, this is the way to go.

wanted to see it at all, but this is beyond hilarious. Especially since, as a huge ST fan going back to early childhood, I think I even recognize the episodes that this is taken from.

What a great, creative idea, to at least make something funny out of that horrendous, disgusting performance. I'm no prude at all, but good gravy, even I have some taste and class limits and boundaries.

Takei's. They both have a pretty good self-deprecating sense of humor, so I think they'd get a kick out of it. I had to come back and watch it again a couple times just for shits and giggles.

some cultural phenomena are far more timeless than others. ST will continue to be a popular legacy and continue to be known to future generations (it's already been nearly fifty years since it first appeared and it's still going strong), while Miley's "performance" will barely be a footnote in cultural history even a few years from now. Or, at least, it should be.

Thanks - a great way to start the day given all the depressing news.

Whoever thought that up verges on genius.

Was how profoundly UN-original and STALE it was.

Is that all she and her people can come up with?
"Uncreative" is a mild word to use here.
