Elucidate please as I am interested as to why this was posted. This is the second such post here today, the first being to not buy a BMW. Is this anti Germany? Is this anti Obama? What is the meaning?

I doubt it is because you should not buy your next BMW.. If you do not want to buy a BMW, it must be other reasons than because Hitler arise to power in Germany 80 year ago.. (It is a great car when everything works, but a expensive car when it goes broke)..

I suspect it was more to point out, that it IS 80 year since Hitler, one of the most "evil" men in the 20th century rise to power - and put Germany on the path to war.. A war who would devastate Germany and most of Europe, and also was one of the main reasons Europe was divided for more than 40 year, under the cold war.. And that the modern Europe, and Germany have to learn from the past, to try to get on with the future.. Germany was for years and years shamefully about its past..

But I guess, some do not care about learning from the past..
