Military probing whether cancers linked to nuclear silo work
Nine military officers who had worked decades ago at a nuclear missile base in Montana (Malmstrom AFB) have been diagnosed with blood cancer and there are indications the disease may be linked to their service, according to military briefing slides obtained by The Associated Press. One of the officers has died.

At the time the sites were part of SAC (Strategic Air Command) Spouses were allowed tours too.
I served breakfast to the crews at the Officer's Club when their shifts ended.

(510 posts)Print out the article from Stars and Stripes (or download it to your phone) and proceed to the VA with your husband. If he hasn't had any symptoms or illnesses, even better.
And I did find that link interesting. I am surprised some Hollywood studio didn't buy it yet for Sci-Fi or post-apocalypse movies. The silo can be used over and over....
