The vice chairman of the Massachusetts Republican State Committee has been hospitalised twice since contracting Covid-19 at a White House holiday party in early December.

Tom Mountain told The Boston Globe: “I didn’t listen to the warnings of my own family, and now I’m paying the price.”

Mr Mountain attended the annual White House Hanukkah party on 9 December at which very few people wore a face mask, despite surging cases of the coronavirus.

“No one can ever say for sure exactly where they got it, but I’ll say this: Before the party, I was in perfectly good health,” he said. “Three days later, I was in the hospital with Covid, and it was all downhill from there.”

How about listening to MDs and scientists, like Dr. Fauci, Dr. Gupta..and even Gov. Cuomo (not a scientist).

Even though his family might have been correct in their recommendation, what do they know?
They just listened to logic, like he should have and he's in power to make positive changes in the life of Americans. But he didn't.....

If I was the CEO of his insurance company, I might consider withholding my approval of insurance funds to treat him. (Sorry, this kind of story that I read day-after-day about converted antiCOVID people, disgusts me).
