AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL REPUBLICANS...

-

Are you tired of poor people getting paid too much money for doing ALL THE LABOR in this country, or for doing nothing at all, but don't have the guts to tax the richest amongst us?

Why don't you try raising the federal minimum wage to $20.00 an hour.

Of course you won't do this, but for the sake of argument, hear me out.

20$ an hour would keep more money in each of the states, and bring in more money to the IRS and Social Security.

You could call it a trickle up economy if you want, but really, who has more to lose if this country goes down? Rich people or poor people?

Economics 101 and a living wage are the rights wrong answer they don't understand how trickle-up works and if they do they want to spend our money not there's. They don't get that the money they are holding back from us is our money not there's

is that it represent $15. per hour for a forty hour work week. They did not just pull the number out of the air.
They were making a point.
The thugs are doing what they always do. They are staying athwart a livable wage. Trying to destroy the minimum wage in theory and practice.

A living wage is around 22 dollars and some change. We need a living wage that the real cost they don't want to wager.

The point is the Rethugs are fighting against the lowest proposed minimum wage. That was purposeful and sets the FLOOR so that we can get more when we get the power back in January.

The well to do (rich) people do not add enough to the economy to count for much, if the lesser of us get more money we spend it, we spend it on stuff the upper half manufactures therefore they get more of our money it is a natural trend that has been in effect for millennia. They tried to pretend that it works in reverse in Reaganomics but that was just a large pile of bovine excrement.
