"The Presidential Trial : The Lawsuit ; Quietly , a Team of Lawyers Kept Paula Jones Case Alive "

"As it turns out, some of the most serious damage to Bill Clinton's Presidency came not from his high-profile political enemies but from a small secret clique of lawyers in their 30's who share a deep antipathy toward the President, according to nearly two dozen interviews and recently filed court documents."

"While cloaking their roles, the lawyers were deeply involved -- to an extent not previously known -- for nearly five years in the Paula Jones sexual misconduct lawsuit. They then helped push the case into the criminal arena and into the office of the independent counsel, Kenneth W. Starr."

"The group's leader was Jerome M. Marcus,"

"George T. Conway 3d, a New York lawyer educated at Yale, shared Mr. Marcus's low view of President Clinton. When the Jones case led to Ms. Lewinsky, Mr. Marcus and Mr. Conway searched for a new lawyer for Mrs. Tripp. Mr. Marcus and Mr. Porter helped arrange for Mrs. Tripp to take her explosive allegations to Mr. Starr."

Below is from " Kellyanne Conway Takes on Toughest role yet : Trump 's Whisperer "

"Conway isn't the only person in her family who has worked to take down the Clintons. Her husband, George T. Conway III, a lawyer at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, was behind some of the most bitter lawsuits against Bill Clinton in the 1990s and stories that were promoted via the Drudge Report."

The New York Times article was written in 1999 , the second article was written this year ( aug ) . Both worth reading in regards to the smearing of the Clinton 's and wanting to " take down " or rather have them lose politically .

1. Wow does this bring back some memories! Seems like the lies back then are the same lies today.

And those trafficking the lies are also the same.
All we had then was the TV news to rely on.
Today we have other means to tell the truth.

Thanks for posting this Kath M.
It needs to be repeated for those who were not of age at that time and for those who sought justice but got little help.
Wrongs must be made right. Hillary Clinton who called out the Right Wing Conspiracy can settle some of that score by taking her place as the 1st womam President and dismantling the freeway of backdoor organized crime in our US gov't, that calls itself the Republican Party.

Hillary will stop the bleed of our basic human rights when she appoints the next Supreme Court.

It has taken her a very long time & patience of the saints but her methodical forward walk through the years will grant her that day of righting the many deep wounds to her family and country, by that vast Right WingConspiracy.
She is entitled to have her day. She has earned this moment.

We must do all we can to give Hillary Clinton the opportunity on Nov 8th.

Thanks Kath M.

2. Yes , wrongs do need to be made right . When Hillary called right wing conspiracy

it fell on deaf ears , conspiracies doubled down through the years . I do hope some if not all will be squashed and the truth comes out .

Hillary will be a great President for all . Agree she has definitely earned this moment for herself , family and country .

Just wanted to add ran across articles above by accident , I was looking something else up when the names involved and timing caught my attention .

We will do all we can to help .
