Family of Slain Jewish DNC Staffer Calls for End to Conspiracy Theories

The family of a Jewish Democratic National Committee staffer killed last month asked for an end to “unproven and harmful theories” about their son’s death.

The family of Seth Rich came out with a statement on Thursday, two days after WikiLeaks offered a $20,000 award for information leading to the conviction of his killer. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in an interview on Netherlands TV suggested that Rich, 27, may have been a source for the leaks clearinghouse, reigniting conspiracy theories.

“The family welcomes any and all information that could lead to the identification of the individuals responsible, and certainly welcomes contributions that could lead to new avenues of investigation,” said the statement from Brad Bauman, a Rich family spokesman, provided Wednesday to Business Insider.

“That said, some are attempting to politicize this horrible tragedy, and in their attempts to do so are actually causing more harm than good and impeding on the ability for law enforcement to properly do their job ...

4. Let's say, just for the sake of insane speculation, Seth Rich was involved in E-Mail hack

Who has the greater motivation for tying off this "lose end" (again, total speculation)

The DNC, the Clinton Campaign? Well, the damage has been done. The info is "out there". What benefit would the scheming, maniacally clever Clinton gain from this murder except more notoriety, more suspicion, more vulnerability to criminal investigation?

However, if the hackers are related to KGB, Putin, international criminals, wouldn't they have the greater motivation for cutting off the connection that may incriminate them? We already know that Putin, the KGB, the Russian mobs are willing to assassinate enemies on foreign soil. And if suspicion should fall on the Evil DNC, so much the better from the viewpoint. The fact that it was not "staged" as a robbery points more to a message from the hackers than a "hit" from the DNC, who would surely be clever enough to take Rich's wallet, watch or even "disappear" the body until , like, forever.

Again, pure speculation. As far as I know, there is no evidence Seth Rich had anything to do with the hack.

And maybe it is easier to believe that the Machiavellian Hillary is nine steps ahead of my humble detecting skills.
