Chris Christie on 2016 presidential run: 'I’m thinking about it'

Source: NJ.com

OCEAN CITY — Gov. Chris Christie continues to assure people he’ll have an answer to the "are you running for president" question by the end of this year or early next year.

The governor, fielding a question from a resident at his shore town hall today, told voters he’s considering a White House run and will make a decision sometime after the upcoming November elections.

“I’m thinking about it,” Christie said.

“It is an enormous decision to make not only for me, but my family,” he stressed. “Probably by the end of this year or the beginning of next I’ll decide.”

The only thing to stop him would be an actual conviction for something.
And it looks like he has that covered.

Conservative judicial group to hammer Chris Christie

A conservative judicial group is planning to run $75,000 in digital ads during New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s trip to Iowa later this week, bracketing him at a time when he’s re-emerging from the Bridgegate scandal.

The Judicial Crisis Network, run by Carrie Severino, a former law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, will run the ads over three days, hoping to drive millions of eyeballs to a website devoted to the New Jersey governor’s records on judicial appointments.

I'm terrified that a guy like Corker, who we know has his sights set on the Presidency, could get the nod. He has an ability to make the unreasonable sound reasonable and that scares me. Christie is so damaged he'd never win. Plus, the more people know about him, the less you like him, in my opinion

and those are his good qualities. He is also one of the better Republicans out there. Seriously, against the likes of Peter King, Todd Akin, Michele Bachman, Scott Walker, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, he actually seems sort of like a warm and cuddly type of person. And that's when I realized if he is the best conservatives have to offer....
