Trayvon Martin Video Shows No Blood or Bruises on George Zimmerman

A police surveillance video taken the night that Trayvon Martin was shot dead shows no blood or bruises on George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch captain who says he shot Martin after he was punched in the nose, knocked down and had his head slammed into the ground.

The surveillance video, which was obtained exclusively by ABC News, shows Zimmerman arriving in a police cruiser. As he exits the car, his hands are cuffed behind his back. Zimmerman is frisked and then led down a series of hallways, still cuffed.

Zimmerman, 28, is wearing a red and black fleece and his face and head are cleanly shaven. He appears well built, hardly the portly young man depicted in a 2005 mug shot that until a two days ago was the single image the media had of Zimmerman.

There is a carton of holes in Zimmerman's story and the Sanford PD's account of this incident. If that person is Zimmerman right after the incident he obviously was not a person who was bleeding from the back of his head or who had been knocked to the ground in a life threatening attack.

14. Well obviously, the Sanford Fire/Rescue has magic beans

they were able to clean up all of the blood from the suspect (and his clothing) AND healed his nose temporarily from the massive break. Magic beans are only good for a few hours though. As poor innocent George awoke the next morning, the broken nose bean magic wore off, the injury returned and he just sobbed inconsolably over the events of the prior evening.

How'd I do?

I've been a member for quite awhile, have hundreds of posts and am not a troll.

I'm not defending the actions of these cops. They belong in jail with Zimmerman. However, not all cops act this way. I know many personally and they would have never done this nor gone along with it. You can't make a blanket statement about an entire group based on the actions of a few. Just as it is unfair to characterize all cops as bad, it is equally unfair to stereotype the actions of protesters. Yes, I have been in the streets with them protesting the wars.

56. When my dog was a puppy, he smacked my nose with his head.

It was an accident. We were playing on the floor, he jumped and his head hit my nose. He weighed about 7 pounds at the time. The blood came pouring out immediately! I had to stuff my nose with cotton to stop it. It took about an hour before it stopped bleeding completely. Doc said it wasn't broken, but it was a little swollen the next day and I got nose bleeds on and off for about 3 weeks. If I had that much trouble after a collision with a 7 pound puppy, I would imagine that a broken nose caused by contact with a thrusting fist would have at least that much damage.

46. I've been wondering about that. The claim is that

he was shot in the chest, but when the one witness who's been very outspoken against Zimmerman and who had called 911 when she heard the screaming (I think it was her call where we hear the screaming and pleading and then the shot that ends it) said that, when she came outside after hearing the shot, Trayvon was lying face downward and Zimmerman had a foot on both sides of him. I'm puzzled as to why, if he were shot in the chest, he was lying face downward with Zimmerman's feet on either side? If you get hit in the chest, the normal trajectory is falling on your back. Then again, I'm certainly no forensics, physics or ballistics expert and there may be another explanation. But I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out that Martin was running and then shot in the back.

One thing is definitely clear: Zimmerman lied about suffering a gash to the back of his head while having his head slammed to the ground repeatedly. There is NO way paramedics will see a gash on someone's head, clean it off, and not at least put a band-aid over the open wound. No band-aid, no injury.
