STOCKBRIDGE, MI Four people arrested Monday at the site of a pipeline protest northwest of Stockbridge have been charged with a felony.

There were 20 to 30 demonstrators gathered early Monday, July 22, at the site of an Enbridge gas pipeline construction project in the area of Grimes Road and Dexter Trail roads, the sheriffs office reported.
The individuals are part of the Michigan Coalition Against Tar Sands and were working to halt the efforts of Enbridge, which is replacing and increasing the capacity of its crude oil and petroleum pipeline through 10 Michigan counties.

(7,672 posts)It would be nice if the oil company humpers would be the only ones to suffer from catastrophic accidents in the oil field, but that's just not the case.

(36,048 posts)flanks, chemically hurt them, all kinds of 'neutralizing'. But the main thing is to have more protestors and lawyers ready to help grind the poisoning industries down to a halt.
I hope these protestors don't give up.
