Samantha Power, who served as an adviser on human rights to President Barack Obama in his first term, will succeed Susan Rice as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, a White House official said.

(6,699 posts)Not sure why I had to even say that, but I am just astonished at how that clown EVER got to be our ambassador to the UN. Talk about insulting the position.
Why is Susan Rice leaving? It's just a shame that she took the hit for the whole communication (mythical) disaster at Benghazi. Talk about a dirty end of the stick. She got it.
