Poll: Optimism up in California

Two-thirds of Californians believe their personal financial situation in one of the hardest-hit states will improve over the next 12 months, a new report shows, a promising sign in the context of declining unemployment across the country.

Sixty-six percent of Californians believe that their personal financial situation will get better during the next year, and 52 percent said the state’s economy will be better, according to a new survey released by Citibank.


However, Californians were also guarded about the chance of another economic downturn — 64 percent said they are worried about another recession.
The optimism in California, a major driver of economic trends in the country, may have national implications.

governor's chair is the big difference. If Jerry can't do it, I'm afraid nobody can.

Which is a possibility.

Plus we finally are getting some rain. Things are looking good.
