North Korea Set To Stage Major Military Drill
Source: Agence France-Presse
North Korea appears to be gearing up for a major military exercise, a report said, amid tensions over an expected missile test and South Koreas pullout from a joint industrial complex.
Preparations are under way near the Norths western port of Nampo for a combined live-fire drill involving artillery units and air force jets, the Souths Yonhap news agency said, citing a Seoul government source.
It appears that the scale of the drill will be quite big, the unnamed official was quoted as saying, voicing fears of military provocations against the South or a missile test by Pyongyang during the exercise.

Another Seoul military official quoted by Yonhap said the communist North may try to fan military tension after South Korea pulls out all its remaining workers from a jointly run factory park.

They should spend that money on a couple hundred new fishing ships.

So obviously unimportant when you're S. Korea and the US. Not always the same language, same equipment, a unified command structure where there's one Commander in Chief for both sets of armed forces? Pshaw, trivialities.
And so obviously crucially important when you're both N. Korean, speak the same language, have the same Commander in Chief have adjacent offices, and regularly share dinners and underage female one-night conscripts.

Kim will be told that the drill was a success and that NK forces are ready for war. The danger is that he may believe it.
