Louisiana is such a deep bed of questionable politics and graft, for so long.

This is why change is very slow in many parts of the country.

People can get rich and get ahead very fast if they know the right people or were born into the right family. Profit can be had in the status quo. It's change that threatens the profit margins. That won't be tolerated.

I work in a downtown NO high rise directly across the street from the federal court house. Rumor has it that there is an entire floor in my building just for federal investigators devoted to the Nagin case.

Reportedly Stan "Pampy" Barre had alot of information to share after his conviction and that was 5 years ago.
