Jill Stein among dozens arrested during Pro-Palestine protest Saturday evening on WashU campus

A group of Pro-Palestine protesters decrying Washington University's response amid the Israel-Hamas War established an encampment on campus Saturday afternoon, calling on the university to meet its demands.
Washington University confirmed Saturday evening that people who were refusing to leave campus were being arrested. Danforth Campus buildings were locked and only accessible to campus police until further notice.
Among those arrested was presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein, who was in town for her campaign, confirmed St. Louis Board of Aldermen President Megan Green, who was also at the protest with Stein.

(8,732 posts)...If she is not a student there, or affiliated with the school in any way, she really has no place demanding a say in how the school invests it's capital resources as the student encampment was set up to do.
