Police continued their search Saturday for Danelo Cavalcante, a convicted murderer who escaped from Chester County Prison in Pennsylvania last week.

Pennsylvania State Police said the fugitive was spotted twice within the search area on Friday, according to a Facebook post by the Chester County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday, a Pennsylvania resident of Pocopson Township claimed he saw Cavalcante at his home at around 11:45 p.m. Police arrived but said a man left the scene after taking some food, 6ABC News Philadelphia reported.

Police have changed the perimeter in the search for Cavalcante. The area spans Conservatory Road to Route 52 and Street Road to Longwood Road, the Pennsylvania State Police announced in a Facebook post on Saturday.
