Cohen knocks Trump for not paying alleged co-conspirators' legal bills: 'Donald is an idiot'

Source: The Hill

Michael Cohen, who served as former President Trump’s personal attorney, called the former president an “idiot” for not paying his alleged co-conspirators’ legal bills in the Georgia election case.

Cohen questioned Monday why Trump would not pay the legal bills for his other co-defendants who were indicted in Fulton County, Ga. — such as attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis.

“Donald’s an idiot,” Cohen told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on “The Source.” “Let me just be very clear: When it comes to paying money, he is truly an idiot. He has not learned yet that … three people you don’t want to throw under the bus like that: your lawyer, your doctor and your mechanic. Because one way or the other, you’re going to go down the hill and there’ll be no brakes.”

He added that he believes Trump should “absolutely” be paying the legal bills for Giuliani.

Why would he pay their legal bills? I think it could be argued that that would be a conflict of interest in this situation.

If I were a co-conspirator, I wouldn't accept his money, that would be bribery. But that's just me.

And I strongly believe he SHOULD NOT pay any money for his co-conspirators legal fees, "let them pull themselves up by their own bootstraps", that is the republican way, and Ayn Rand, whose bible Atlas Shrugged is the inspiration for republicans, teaches you that you must have no sympathy, not even for your family members for you to get ahead, sooo...zero money for your co-conspirators, they knew they might have to become martyrs for your cause, making America great.

squeezed by Russian Mafia who are requiring payments on loans they hold and his core group of attorneys who must be fed. Just nothing left, until he can get another big grift going. Probably act up and get tossed into a cell to bring in a new stream of donations.

After getting a new lawyer, he rescinded his previous false testimony and so we got the superseding indictment (Merde-a-logo case)

Interesting but doesn’t meet the importance threshold for LBN. Would be great to repost in General Discussion if you’d like.
