President Ivan Duque (L) and Antonio Intriago
Colombias President Ivan Duque will have to clarify his ties to a dodgy businessman who allegedly recruited veterans who ended up accused of assassinating Haitis president.
State propaganda chief Hassan Nassar insisted that Duque had no meeting with or ties to Antonio Intriago despite evidence indicating the opposite.
. . .
News website La Nueva Prensa alerted Nassar on Sunday already that Duque met with Intriago when the then-candidate was campaigning in Florida on February 10, 2918 in an open information request.
. . .
The news website published the photo of Duque and the owner of CTU after which The Miami Herald confirmed its veracity.
The New York Times additionally said that the suspected key suspect in Moises assassinate wasnt just friendly with Colombias president, but also had a history of debt, evictions and bankruptcies in Florida.

(21,677 posts)Haiti has long been coveted by Colombian narcos (and their U.S. collaborators) as a transshipment point for cocaine and heroin, given its instability and proximity to U.S. shores.
Moïse - unlike, for instance, Duvalier in his day - was apparently not on board with the plan.

Two Mega grifters. Miami has to be the grifter capital of the Western Hemisphere.
Thanks for your post. I think we won't be surprised, now, if someone keeps digging enough, without getting murdered, to get the whole story revealed.

Whenever there's intrigue south of the border, it's a good bet that 'Little Narco' left his fingerprints somewhere.
