Exitpoll Ipsos: VVD largest party, D66 after big win second party (Netherlands)

According to an exit poll by research firm Ipsos, commissioned by the NIS, the VVD remains the largest party with 35 seats, 2 more than in the previous Dutch parliamentary elections. D66 becomes the second party in the poll with 27 seats, a win of eight seats. That is the best result ever for the party.
The PVV, the largest opposition party to this day, won 17 seats, according to the exit poll, a loss of 3 compared to four years ago. This is followed by the CDA with 14 seats (-5).
Follow at a greater distance than the PvdA, which with 9 seats would remain unchanged, GroenLinks with 8 (-6), the SP with also 8 (-6). Forum for Democracy wins five seats and comes in at 7, according to the exit poll. The Party for the Animals stands at 6 seats (+1) in the poll.
The pan-European party Volt won 4 seats on its debut in the House of Representatives. The same number will reach the Christian Union, which would lose one seat.

The Governing coalition (VVD+D66+CDA+CU) is centrist. The primary opposition (PVV is right-wing/nationalist). 76 seats are needed for a majority.
