Kentucky nurse loses job after entering Capitol during riot
Source: The Hill
A Kentucky nurse has been terminated from her job following her alleged participation in the riot last week at the U.S. Capitol, which temporarily stopped Congress from certifying the Electoral College victory of President-elect Joe Biden.
Lori Vinson, of Morganfield, Ky., was among rioters who stormed the Capitol last week. She recorded the events on her phone and posted them to social media, NBC station 14News reported.
I hope that is something I remember and say Im glad I was a part of that' 30 years from now, Vinson said of her participation.
She was later fired from Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Ind., on Friday for her involvement. Termination paperwork stated that Vinson was terminated for admitting to engaging in criminal behavior at a high-profile event, while her social media account also revealed her employer, according to the local NBC station.

(53,977 posts)Filled with trump disinformation, she helped storm her nation's Capitol building, videos he own participation then stupidly posts it online.
Do these people have no concept of what criminal behavour is? Did they think that since they were able to walk away and go home, nothing would happen even though they posted it online?
Just stupid.

(10,045 posts)for years to become a nurse (I know how hard that is, I did it myself) and blow it all on one stupid criminal incident so that you lose your license and end up working part time at somewhere like Dollar General or 7-11 because no one else will hire you on account of your criminal record, that just shows what a bleeping idiot you are. I was not mocking working people in the least, and if you don't get the nuances, maybe you should be somewhere else.
