Libyan security forces have arrested two men accused of working for a Russian troll farm seeking to influence elections in the oil exporter and other African countries.

A letter from the state prosecutor of the internationally-backed Tripoli government to a Libyan security chief said the men were involved in “securing a meeting” with Saif al-Islam al-Qaddafi, the fugitive son of the ousted dictator and a potential presidential candidate who enjoys the backing of some officials in Moscow.

Russia’s foreign ministry said it was aware of the reports and was seeking to verify them. “We haven’t received an official notification from the Libyan side regarding this matter,” the foreign ministry’s press service said.

Laptops and memory sticks found with the suspects showed that they worked for an outfit identified as Fabrika Trollei, Russian for Troll Factory, that “specializes in influencing elections that are to be held in several African states” including Libya, the letter, stamped by the attorney general’s office and obtained by Bloomberg, stated. Two Libyan government officials with direct knowledge of the matter confirmed the authenticity of the document.

3. Little man Putin just can't get enough of messing with other countries.

He should mind his own country. Their miserable economic situation is so bad that the average monthly wages for a worker is less than $500. or $6,000 a year. Imagine trying to live on that miserly bit and paying 13% flat tax while little man Putin throws around the money he's stolen from his corrupt governance. He's paying millions to the NRA and white supremacists groups while taking 13% of the small wages workers get AND increasing the Value Added Tax.

"So far this year, the gross domestic product, a common gauge of economic health, expanded at a rate of 0.5 percent, while real disposable incomes fell by 2.3 percent." So the little dicktater is just making things worse in Russia for the average worker. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/05/business/russia-economic-development-plan.html

He took almost $500 billion out of the economy as a surplus. That's what he uses to pay off his mob and criminals. All the while the Russian middle class gets smaller and poorer and their elite, like kings and czars of old, are coddled and paid off.

Russians really need to revolt against this thug.
