Prosecutors will release pixelated video in Robert Kraft's solicitation of prostitution case

(CNN) - Despite protestations from Robert Kraft's legal team, prosecutors said Wednesday they intend to release video footage that is expected to show the New England Patriots owner receiving sexual services at a Florida day spa.

Prosecutors will also release video showing 24 other men charged in the monthslong, multi-jurisdictional sting that allegedly ensnared Kraft in February, according to documents filed by the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office.

As custodian of the records, prosecutors say state law compels them to release the evidence to the media. They will "pixelate or blur depictions of obscene or pornographic images before releasing such records to the public, absent a court order." It was not clear when the video will be released.

(CNN) - A judge on Wednesday temporarily blocked the release of video that allegedly shows New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft receiving sexual services at a Florida day spa, Palm Beach State Attorney's Office spokesman Mike Edmondson told CNN.

A hearing is scheduled for April 29, and the video will not be released before then, according to Edmondson.
Kraft's lawyers had filed an emergency motion earlier on Wednesday, aiming to block the release after Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office said in court documents it would release video showing Kraft and 24 other men charged after a monthslong, multijurisdictional sting.

Kraft's lawyers have maintained that releasing the video would violate their client's constitutional rights and hamper his chance for a fair trial.

"Mr. Kraft has an obvious and profound stake in any potential disclosure of the sensitive materials at issue, which, among other things, depict him naked, and should therefore be permitted to intervene for the sake of protecting his interests and informing this Court's decision," the defense motion said.

4. Setting a precedent

I think this happening will set a precedent and stop the enslaving of immigrant women and men who have been brought here against their free will. What this video will look like and how much of it may be seen as pornographic or a violation of privacy I personally don't have an opinion on it and may refuse to watch it if it has tones of obscene material that I wouldn't want my wife, kids, or family to see and is most likely going to be very inappropriate.

On a lighter note I wonder if the political comedian raizada is going to add this to his material (covered here on Democraticunderground.org).
