Three Israelis were arrested over the weekend in Colombia, along with 15 others, on suspicion of involvement in sex trafficking in the tourist city of Cartagena that included the sexual exploitation of more than 250 women and girls, Israels Ynet news reported.
Its reported that Colombian authorities also asked Interpol to arrest a former Israel soldier deported from Colombia for running a child prostitution ring. Authorities claimed that even after his expulsion, 44-year-old Israeli citizen Assi Ben-Mosh continued to manage his illicit operations in Colombia from afar.
Mosh was deported to Israel after it was discovered that he was part of a group of ex-Israeli soldiers that had turned a small fishing village in Taganga into a sex and drug den from their base in a luxury resort, the Benjamin Hostel which was known to locals as little Israel.
From little Israel Moosh is reported to have run similar clubs exploiting drugs and children in Cartagena, Bogotá, Medellín, Ecuador, Mexico and Brazil. Local residents spoke of their relief following his arrest and deportation last November and thought they had seen the back of the former Israeli soldier.

by Adriaan Alsema July 30, 2018
Colombias prosecution said Sunday that it had broken up a prostitution ring that recruited displaced girls from Colombia and Venezuela to work as sex slaves.
A series of raids in the city led to the arrest of 18 people, including two policemen who received money not to report the sexual abuse of what chief prosecutor Nestor Humberto Martinez called true 21st century sex slaves.
Interpol was asked to help locate two US Americans, one German and an Argentine, who allegedly sought sex with minors.
A Navy official was arrested on claims he tattooed his name on the bodies of girls under 14 he sexually abused.

Three Israelis were arrested over the weekend in Colombia, along with 15 others, on suspicion of involvement in sex trafficking in the tourist city of Cartagena that included the sexual exploitation of more than 250 women and girls.
Those arrested include foreigners, hotel owners, policemen, a navy captain who forced his victims to tattoo his name on their bodies, and a Colombian woman known as "Madame" who authorities say led a sex trafficking ring.
Local media reports said that Colombia had asked Interpol to arrest Israeli citizen Assi Ben-Mosh, who was deported last November from the South American country on suspicion of his involvement in running the underage sex ring.
Authorities claimed that even after his expulsion, he continued to manage his illicit operations in Colombia from afar.
Colombian authorities said that Mosh had harmed the security of the state and its citizens. Reports identified Mosh, who owns the Benjamin Hostel near Santa Marta in northern Colombia, and local news sites accused him and his associates of tax fraud, drug offenses and inciting children to prostitution.

November 27, 2017 By JTA
RIO DE JANEIRO (JTA) Colombia has expelled an Israeli national accused of running an illegal tourism network that offered trips with drugs and underage prostitutes.
Assi Ben-Mosh, 43, was put on a plane Sunday that was scheduled to stop in Spain on its way to Israel. He is banned from returning to Colombia for 10 years.
Ben-Mosh, who has lived in the fishing village of Taganga for a decade, was known for throwing wild parties, many of which were raided by police for disrupting public order. He moved to the South American country after finishing his mandatory military service in Israel.
His arrest and expulsion was a relief because authorities were for many years complacent, an unnamed witnesses told El Heraldo newspaper. The newspaper could not find anyone willing to be named for the article, saying they feared for their lives.
