Trump: Kim summit 'may not work out' in June

Source: The Hill

President Trump on Tuesday said his planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un may not take place in June, raising further doubt about whether the historic meeting will occur.

Trump said he believes North Korea is “serious” about denuclearization, but suggested the June 12 summit date could slip as the two nations wrangle over the terms of a nuclear deal.

“If it doesn’t happen, maybe it will happen later,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. “You never know about deals ... I’ve made a lot of deals. You never really know. It may not work out for June 12.”

Trump spoke while meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, whose government has helped broker nuclear diplomacy between the U.S. and North Korea.

It was great for an applause line and a chant at a rally in Michigan. The Nobel talk served its purpose. In the minds of his "fans," he's already won it. Seriously. Ask a Trumpist what they think about his winning the Nobel, and you're likely to hear that it is a fait accompli, literally.

for the Nobel Prize so all those Republican congressmen that nominated Herr Trump for the award would at least have to pay the entry fee.

Heard from some pundit MSNBC (can't remember which pundit, sorry): Trump spiked the football, while he was still standing on his own 20 yd line. What an asshole. Had the arrogance to mint commemorative coins already. I'm sure they will sell for 29 cents on Ebay. Or maybe 5 for a dollar at the flea market.

I'll say it again -- What an asshole!
