Hillary Clinton Jokes: I Gave 'Some Thought' To Moving Abroad After Trump Won

Source: Mediate

by Aidan McLaughlin | 1:07 pm, May 7th, 2018

Hillary Clinton said in a speech on Monday that she considered moving abroad after Donald Trump won the presidency.

Speaking in Auckland, New Zealand on the foreign leg of her tour to promote 2016 campaign memoir What Happened, Clinton reflected before a crowd of 3,000 people who she dealt with the defeat.

“I’m still proud of the campaign we ran and the 65.8 million Americans who supported it,” she said. “So when people ask me ‘how are you doing?’ I say, well as a person I’m okay. But as an American, I’m concerned.”

Clinton then joked that she received invitations to move permanently to New Zealand. “I must say I really did appreciate the offers,” she said. “Gave them some thought.”

However she'd have been a loved & popular favorite, no doubt.

I look forward to this being taken completely out of context and blown out of proportion by our wonderful media.

And we'd have a Dem SC Judge.
Dreamers & families would not be living in daily fear.
Citizen's United would be on the chopping block and tuition & wages wouldn't be a campaign wedge for the future. It would be a reality.

The ignorance of the electorate that filled their bellies on propaganda is astonishing.

We would have been America at it's best with HRC as our leader.

Who couldn't see that, & why didn't they want that for our future.
Stunning ignorance...that's all it says.

and gave it some thought. Big Deal.

There have been more than a few people on this board who thought about moving out of the country when bush was potus. That does not "reek of privilege", either.
