Trump accuser Rachel Crooks calls his bluff after president's attack on 'woman I don't know and never met'

A woman I dont know and, to the best of my knowledge, never met, is on the FRONT PAGE of the Fake News Washington Post saying I kissed her (for two minutes yet) in the lobby of Trump Tower 12 years ago. Never happened! Trump tweeted Tuesday. Who would do this in a public space with live security cameras running. Another False Accusation. Why doesnt @washingtonpost report the story of the women taking money to make up stories about me? One had her home mortgage paid off. Only @FoxNews so reporteddoesnt fit the Mainstream Media narrative.

Crooks took the James Comey approach of calling out the president. Lordy, I hope there are tapes, Comey famously said after Trump threatened to release tapes of their conversation.

4. I believe a lot of security systems do this automatically...

Either tapes or digital...small operations often will use seven tapes, one for each day of the week and change them every day. They can't look back further than a week because that tape has already been recorded over. Similarly, with digital, I'd expect they probably don't archive footage of empty hallways when no alarm is raised in a timely fashion.

I think newer systems use motion detectors to not waste tape or hard drive so it's not hours of empty hallways, only switching to record when something is happening in front of the camera.

7. Right, buildings are unlikely to have security camera footage from 12 years ago.

Maybe a building like the Pentagon does.

8. I would be fucking astounded if it still existed.

Such an industry (hospitality) might have ulterior motives in storing it longer, but 12 years... Unlikely.

If they DO have it by some crazy miracle, it will of course never see the light of day.

6. Notice he denied something she didn't assert

He talks about the lobby while she's talking about the 24th Floor elevator area. While even an ass like the Dotard wouldn't likely make out in a public place, coming off the elevator upstairs is a different matter.

BTW - This is his standard MO, denies something different than what was said. Avoids the truth to affirm an illusion. Given the comprehension level of his supporters, they think he has issued an resounding rebuttal.

And those were recycled on a weekly or monthly basis. No chance those recordings are still around.

In effect he is saying..."A person would have to be an idiot to do that where cameras were operating!"

Uh....yeah.

The thread got me curious and I asked head of security at my modest sized company (250+ people) that is neither wonderfully successful nor on the brink of tanking.

He took me into his office, and said that if I named a date and time within the past fourteen years, he could access it-- either digitally, or on tape (which he said he's currently in the process of digitizing).

I gave him the time and date: Oct. of 2008 (a particular thing happened at work that day forever ingrained into my memory which is why I used it). In five minutes, he had the footage on the screen of his PC.

17. Same Here

Even when the system was tape, they had 8 tapes. 2 machines captured 12 cameras each. After 2 days, the next 2 machines kicked in. While the 3rd set was recording, the first set was playing back and being saved digital motion capture. After the 6th extra day, the first two machines were running again.

Now, everything is digital and all the cameras (45 of them now) are all saved all the time, with back ups to the server every week.

I did the same as you and asked our IT guy.
