UPDATED: Trump responds to s---hole reports: 'This was not the language used'

BY BROOKE SEIPEL - 01/12/18 07:49 AM EST

President Trump on Friday addressed reports that he referred to some immigrants as coming from “shithole countries," tweeting to his followers that it wasn't the language he used.

The tweet appeared to reference the heated Oval Office meeting in which he reportedly made the comment that Haiti, El Salvador and several African countries were "shithole countries."

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said, according to The Washington Post, which first reported his comments on Thursday.

Trump did not specify in his tweet Friday morning which language he did use, but only said it was "tough."

UPDATE:

‘Fox & Friends’ host called for Trump to clarify ‘s---hole' comment shortly before denial

BY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 01/12/18 08:59 AM EST

A “Fox & Friends” host called on President Trump to walk back his comments calling Haiti, El Salvador and African nations “shithole countries” shortly before Trump did so in a tweet Friday morning.

It may be just the latest example of a link between Fox News reports and presidential tweets.

The sequence on Thursday followed a similar pattern with Trump tweets.

During the “Fox & Friends” opening segment just before 6 a.m., host Brian Kilmeade said Trump needed to “clarify" his comments "right away, before noon, so he can move forward on substantive talks to help the country.” Kilmeade's comments were noted by Matt Gertz of Media Matters.

and all the money I will make for the rest of my life that...

he already HAS used that word in the White House.

We will never hear about it because there wasn't someone with honor and courage in that conversation.

It took the Nixon tapes to reveal the anti-semitism replete in Nixon's babbling -- and, as a bonus, the tapes also caught the sainted Reverend Billy Graham denouncing America's Jews as threatening the liberties which bigoted racist s.o.b.'s like him and his son hold dear.

I bet he’ll be sloppy enough to use it in front of someone who will report it.
It is honestly what he thinks, and he just loves to run his mouth.

"I am the least racist person that you have ever met," Trump told the pastor in the interview taped earlier this month and aired on the Impact Network.

He isn't denying the sentiment of what he said, just the swear words, like a kid denying he was cussing on the playground.

Meanwhile, maybe he has no idea what he said, though I'm sure he did.

Too late shithead. You waited until you were on the toilet to deny it. It’s gone through the entire cycle and you’re way too late to erase the truth.
