WHITE HOUSE OFFICIALS SAY ROY MOORE SHOULD STEP DOWN, BUT DON'T SIDE WITH CHILD SEX ACCUSERS
BY JASON SILVERSTEIN ON 11/12/17 AT 12:45 PM
Three White House officials said Sunday that Alabama Senate contender Roy Moore should likely step down over the child sex allegations against him but none seemed completely convinced that they are true.
White House legislative director Marc Short, counselor Kellyanne Conway and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin all said in Sunday show interviews that Moore might not be the man for the job after the Washington Post exposed decades-old accusations against him. None of the three, however, definitively said that Moore needs to exit the race, and all left open the possibility that the allegations arent true.
Short seemed to deliver the clearest denunciation, saying there is a special place in hell for people who have been accused of Moores alleged crimes.
Theres no Senate seat more important than the issue of child pedophilia, Short told NBC News Meet the Press.

I'm surprised that Trump hasn't offered Moore a role in the White House.

Also, I read the following an hour ago in latest breaking news (see below) and wonder if I shouldn't go watch some bad teevee for the rest of the day due to hyper-confusion/shell shock/massive brain-mush attack:
"Senior White House aide: Give Roy Moore more time to defend himself"
Oy!

The Repukes want him to step down so they can replace him with a write-in candidate

(15,286 posts)Moore's accusers are more credible than Moore's denials, I figured it's over for Moore. Toomey never takes a stand without spending a loooooonnng time figuring out which way the wind is blowing. It must be blowing pretty fiercely against Moore.
