Maxine Waters: Trump's White House 'transforms everyone into liars'

Source: The Hill

BY BRANDON CARTER - 10/21/17 10:35 AM EDT

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) ripped President Trump and members of his administration on Saturday, saying “the filth wreaking from” Trump’s White House affects “even the most honorable people.”

Waters blasted Trump for calling Rep. Frederica Wilson “wacky” after Trump continued to attack the Florida Democrat on Saturday morning, saying she is “killing the Democratic Party.”

Trump’s White House has continued to feud with Wilson after the congresswoman criticized Trump earlier this week for his call to the widow of a fallen U.S. service member.

Wilson was in a car with the fallen soldier’s family when Trump called, and the family confirmed her description of the call, which took place on speakerphone.

its overwhelming ambience of corruption and can't escape without a permanently tainted reputation. IMO, anyone who agrees to work there in the first place is either inclined toward corruption themselves or is arrogant (and foolish) enough to think they can "fix" the mess. They can't. I'd say to those few who still sincerely believe they are serving their country: Get out while you can. Get out before you discover that you are no longer welcome at social events; your kid doesn't get invited to other kids' birthday parties; you can't get a job anywhere except Fox News; your wife leaves you for an itinerant aluminum siding salesman; and your priest throws you out of the confessional, saying, "Sorry; you won't live long enough to say all Hail Marys you'd need to save your blasted soul."
