Threats of political violence rise in polarized Trump era

Escalating tensions this summer have stepped up fears about political violence.

Law enforcement officials, college campuses and cities around the country are bracing for a new wave of alt-right rallies in the weeks and months to come, with parties on both sides of the debate over Confederate statues and monuments prepared for standoffs.

At the center of it all is President Trump, whose heated rhetoric has angered opponents while firing up his supporters, magnifying the sense that the political divide in the country is growing wider.

“When there seems to be no room for compromise and no appetite for listening to the other side, the potential for violence is higher,” said Richard Cohen, president of the Southern Poverty Law Center. “And the Confederate monuments are the obvious flash point.”

1. the racism is so damn obvious

Barack Hussein Obama recognized us all as americans and conducted his administration in that manner, donald trump only recognizes white people, the most racist ameriKKKans, new members of the racist southern confederacy gone national and nazis especially. Oh, did I mention for 8 years we had an African-american as a first class POTUS and immediately following that POTUS, now, a racist grifter as potus? How much more obvious can it be that ameriKKKa is one of the most racist nations on the planet with some of the most virulently vicious and hateful white supremacists ready to start killing, lynching, torturing all not of white skin, again.

2. Isnt it ironic?

Isnt it ironic that half of the world's nazis come from Russia, the same country that has a dictator that Trump actively sucks off on a daily basis! Thats why Trump's mouth is always open!
