RNC chair: 'I don't even know' if it's legal for RNC to pay Trump's legal fees

He neglected to mention Russia and other Citizens United dark money inputs.

They do as they please and get away with it. They don't care about what is "legal" or not. They just DO and then when caught, will deny doing any such thing, and then when pressed, will insist there was nothing illegal about it, and then when that excuse fails, they will point to someone else doing what they think was the same thing (and it wasn't), and then finally they will blame someone else for what they did.

In a nutshell - "It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission".
